The spokes and knives have been manufactured at Hirose Products’ Chinese plant since 2018, and this time, the polishing time has been extended to 90 minutes, about twice as long as before, to make the mouthfeel smoother, and to make it less likely to crack. ANA, which promotes “ESG management” that considers the environment, society, and governance, has been working to reduce the use of single-use plastic products and has been using wood for in-flight meals for some time.
